Jongbloed Plate Rack

Goal:

Design of a Plate rack which has completely automated storage and retrieval capability with an increased storage capacity of plate material.

Description:

The plate rack is a storage machine designed to store metal sheets. The storage and retrieval of the items is a completely automated process. The plate rack has 84 storage slots with the capacity to store items weighing up to 2.5 tons and measuring up to 3000 x 1500 x 70 per slot. Each slot is provided with a tray which is used to store/retrieve the items. We also performed the Conformitè Europëenne (CE) check to ensure the conformity with the certification criteria.
